Meet Dr. Caitlin Scott, DMD, Orthodontist
For Dr. Caitlin Scott, orthodontics has been personal from the start. Her interest in the field started at age 14, when she had her braces removed and saw her new smile for the first time. The confidence she felt in that moment stayed with her and inspired her to pursue a career helping others experience that same transformation.
Today, Dr. Scott is proud to care for patients in the same community she calls home. Whether she’s treating a familiar face, a neighbor, or a family she’s getting to know for the first time, she loves getting to help people feel more confident in their smiles and in themselves.
As part of the Palmetto Family Orthodontics team at the Verdae and Spartanburg offices, Dr. Scott brings a warm, thoughtful presence to every appointment and enjoys building lasting relationships with patients throughout their orthodontic journey.

Dr. Scott believes great orthodontic care starts with trust. To her, this means taking the time to listen, answer questions, and make sure you understand your treatment and feel confident about what comes next.

Tools like 3D imaging, intraoral scanners, and advanced treatment-planning software allow Dr. Scott to create detailed digital models of each patient’s smile, carefully plan tooth movement, and visualize potential treatment outcomes before treatment begins.

What Dr. Scott Loves Outside of Work
When she’s not creating smiles, Dr. Scott loves spending time with her husband, Kessler, their children, Palmer and Reynolds, and their dog, Rummy. She enjoys staying active with workouts, golf, and walks or bike rides along the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
She’s also a proud Clemson fan and loves cheering on the Tigers! During the summer, you’ll often find her at the lake or the beach enjoying time with family and friends.
