For Dr. Elaine Simpson, orthodontics is all about seeing the big picture and helping each patient discover what their smile can become. As an orthodontic provider, she loves the process of looking ahead, envisioning the final result, and developing a personalized path to get there. Today, Dr. Simpson is proud to care for patients at Palmetto Family Orthodontics’ Duncan Chapel and Spartanburg locations, helping children, teens, and adults work toward healthy, beautiful smiles with confidence.

Dr. Simpson believes great orthodontic care starts with seeing each patient as an individual. Because no two smiles are exactly alike, she takes the time to create a personalized treatment plan based on each patient’s unique needs, goals, and overall oral health.
Just as important as the treatment itself is making sure patients understand what to expect along the way. Dr. Simpson values open communication and wants every patient and family to feel comfortable asking questions, confident in their treatment plan, and supported throughout the entire process.
Her goal is to combine advanced orthodontic care with genuine compassion to create results that go beyond appearance. She focuses on building smiles that are beautiful, functional, stable, and designed to last while forming meaningful relationships with the patients and families she has the privilege to care for.

Dr. Simpson treats a wide range of orthodontic concerns, including crowding, spacing, overbites, underbites, and crossbites. Her experience allows her to evaluate not just how a smile looks, but how the teeth and jaws work together to create a healthy, balanced result.
Depending on each patient’s needs, Dr. Simpson may recommend treatment with braces, Invisalign® clear aligners, expanders, or Class II correctors. You might also find Dr. Simpson running or taking a long walk with her dog, Ivy, on the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
An avid reader, she always has a book in progress, meets with friends for a monthly book club, and loves attending events at M. Judson Booksellers, where she’s had the chance to meet several published authors. And whenever wanderlust calls, Dr. Simpson is ready for an adventure: traveling is one of her biggest passions, and she tries to plan a big trip to a new destination every year.
