We have a fabulous new doctor joining our PFO team: Dr Caitlin Moquin, DMD.
With strong roots in Greenville, Dr. Watson has made his way back to his hometown to set up his orthodontic practice. After growing up in the Gower area and attending J.L. Mann High School, he earned his B.S. in Biology from Wofford College in Spartanburg SC. After graduation, Dr Watson began his dental education at MUSC where he served as student body president. While in Charleston, he met his wife Kathy while they were both involved in YoungLife.
Upon receiving his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, he headed north to Rochester NY where he attended the University of Rochester’s Eastman Dental Center. Here he completed a three-year Temporomandibular Joint Fellowship and served as Chief Resident for the third year, while simultaneously working to receive his Masters of Public Health. Dr. Watson spent his final two years in Rochester completing the Residency Program in Orthodontics.
After 13 years of educational training, he is excited to be back in Greenville with his family. Trecy and Kathy have four kids: Madelyn, Katie Beth, Ella and Bo. In his spare time, Dr. Watson enjoys ultimate frisbee, snowboarding, spending time at the lake and hanging out with is family.
Dr. Caldwell is a native of Greenville and grew up in the Cleveland Park and Gower Neighborhoods. After graduation from J.L. Mann High School, Dr. Caldwell attended Wofford College where he played football. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biology and then ventured to Charleston with his high school sweetheart- and now wife- Mary DuPre (Dr. Watson’s sister).
In Charleston, he completed his Dental Education program, graduating first in his class from the Medical University of South Carolina. He and his wife then moved to Richmond, Virginia where he specialized in Orthodontics at the Medical College of Virginia.
After moving back to the Gower area of Greenville, he joined his brother-in-law, Dr. Watson, at Palmetto Family Orthodontics. Rush-Baker and Mary DuPre cherish spending time with their four children: Watson, Trib, Gaines, and Gully. On many Saturday afternoons you may find Dr. Caldwell cheering for his beloved Georgia Bulldogs.
