For Dr. Rush-Baker Caldwell, orthodontics is about helping people through a treatment experience they can genuinely feel excited about, rather than just straightening teeth. He works out of Palmetto Family Orthodontics’ East Faris office in Greenville.
The positive energy of orthodontics is a natural fit for Dr. Caldwell. He loves that orthodontics gives him the opportunity to work with patients who are ready to make a meaningful change, and he brings plenty of enthusiasm of his own to every appointment. In fact, one of the things patients notice about Dr. Caldwell is that he smiles a lot!
At Palmetto Family Orthodontics, Dr. Caldwell provides personalized orthodontic care for children, teens, and adults, with experience ranging from braces and clear aligners to expansion, early treatment, airway-focused orthodontics, and complex cases.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Caldwell believes great orthodontic care comes down to getting the details right and seeing treatment all the way through.
He particularly enjoys caring for patients with challenging orthodontic needs. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, he looks carefully at each patient’s smile and treatment needs to determine the right path forward.
That attention to detail carries throughout the orthodontic journey. As Dr. Caldwell puts it, “The job isn’t done until it’s done.” It’s a straightforward philosophy that reflects his commitment to giving every patient thoughtful, thorough care from their first visit through their final results.
Expertise
Dr. Caldwell treats children, teens, and adults with a wide range of orthodontic needs, from dental crowding and bite concerns to cases that require expansion or more advanced treatment planning. His expertise includes Invisalign, metal/ceramic/lingual braces, early interceptive treatment, surgical orthodontics, and airway-focused orthodontics. He also has experience addressing crossbites and other bite concerns, providing expansion therapy, and helping patients achieve smiles that look great and function well.
Always looking for opportunities to strengthen the care he provides, Dr. Caldwell has pursued continuing education in clear aligner therapy, pediatric sleep medicine, surgical orthodontics, and Class II correction. His training includes the Ormco and Spark Master Course, Mastering Pediatric Sleep Medicine with Dr. Audrey Yoon, and advanced Invisalign education through Align. He is also an Invisalign Blue Diamond Provider, with particular interests in clear aligner therapy, airway evaluations, and expansion therapy.
